The highway between Biharia and Satu Nou
The works are going to be started at the two ends of the highway simultaneously, both in Bihor and Braşov counties. It is an innovation that the highway is going to cross the frontier near the borderline between Tămăşeu and Borş, about 15 km northward from Borş. The highway heading towards east intersects the Oradea-Satu Mare main road and after Cauaceu, passing by the farm that once has been the state's property, goes on along the hills intercepting Sălard, Sârbi, Spinuş, Chişlaz, Tăuteu, Suplacul de Barcău and finally leaving the county. According to the anticipatory plans there are going to be two main junctions: one of them near Satu Nou, at the road to Satu Mare, the other between Tăuteu and Chiribiş. The highway is going to intercept eight settlements. Vass Ottó, the vice-mayor's opinion is, that the highway is going to attract the investors, and the village would prefer investors with long-term objectives. The prices of the land are very likely to grow in the region: currently 1 ha plough land in Biharia costs 11-18 million Lei (1100-1800 Ron).
